A passion for racing cars and an artist since his childhood, Fabrice Lachavanne paints, in acrylic, racing cars in actual competitions during the period 1920–1970.

In his work, particular attention is given to detail. The frame of each original painting is handmade by the artist from exotic wood and burnished steel.

Characteristics of each original painting:
Painting : 65 X 100 cm
Frame : 105 X 145 cm
Total Weight : 25 kg

A discrete engraving of the artist’s signature is visible on the lower part of the burnished frame.

High quality prints of the originals on luxury paper 300 gm m2 are also available in a 500 copies limited edition, numbered, signed and stamped with the artist’s logo.

As with the original paintings, the frames need many hours of work and skilled craftsmanship to produce a high quality product. The artist makes the frames himself using different machines and tools to produce the molding of the wood and the burnished steel. The placing of the glass and the passe-partout on the original painting also requires particular care.
